September is always a time for fresh starts, but this year at Jaleo, we’re celebrating big.
If you’ve passed by our school over the summer or followed us on social media, you’ll know we’ve experienced a few weeks of… well, quite a bit of jaleo! Between hammers, paint, cables, and a lot of excitement, we’ve been working behind the scenes to completely transform our language center.
The reason? For the first time since we opened our doors, the space is 100% ours. After sharing the premises with another study center since our beginnings, this summer we acquired the entire space to give it our personal touch, fill every corner with light, and tailor the facilities to exactly what our students need.

We wanted the school to be not only bigger, but also a more comfortable, modern, and versatile environment to Spanisch lernen in Madrid. Here are the key upgrades you’ll notice right away:
From 6 to 8 classrooms: We’ve expanded our capacity so we can continue offering small group classes while welcoming more international students from around the world.
Classrooms with character: We’re saying goodbye to color names. From now on, each of our 8 classrooms is named after one of our favorite words in Spanish. Can you imagine taking your lesson in room Verbena oder Ojalá?
Advanced learning technology: We’ve upgraded from 2 to 6 state-of-the-art interactive digital whiteboards to make lessons even more dynamic, visual, and engaging.
Information display at reception: A new reception screen helps you stay up to date with our cultural activities, schedules, and news at a glance.
Upgraded Wi-Fi and climate control: High-speed internet and optimal temperature are essential for comfortable, focused learning.
A workspace tailored for our teaching team 👩🏫
The heart of Jaleo Madrid is our teaching staff. As part of the renovation, we’ve redesigned a dedicated teachers’ room. It offers our instructors an independent space to prepare lesson materials while maintaining an open-plan concept that fosters collaboration and creative idea-sharing.

We’ve refreshed our colors, brought in more natural light, and installed modern technology. However, the core of Jaleo remains unchanged: our people and our welcoming atmosphere.
We designed the new space to reflect how we teach Spanish: a warm, vibrant, and friendly hub where you can learn the language, make lifelong friends, and feel right at home in Madrid.
