The school is located in the Salamanca neighborhood, in the center of Madrid. It’s very easily accessible through Madrid’s Metro lines 2, 4, 5, and 6. Find directions on this map.
We prefer in-person classes, but our teachers have great experience in teaching online as well.
Centers accredited by the Instituto Cervantes offer quality conditions endorsed by this institution, which is dedicated to the promotion of the Spanish language worldwide. These quality standards are audited periodically, so at Jaleo Madrid, we assure you the highest possible quality in our classes.
In a cooperative, the teachers are the owners of the school. This benefits you as a student because you will have a much more personal approach, and you won’t just be a number. Communication is much more direct compared to other types of schools, making you feel at home. Learn about us here.
Anyone can study Spanish even if they don’t know a single word. As teachers, we will advise you on a course appropriate for your level and provide follow-up to check your adaptation to the school.
Our classes can accommodate a maximum of eight people, but the average is usually lower, giving you more time to practice your Spanish.
Our students are usually between 25 and 40 years old, but we have students of different ages, and they usually fit perfectly into our groups. Even if you have children and want them to receive Spanish classes, just inquire about our courses.
We have Spanish courses available throughout the year, making it convenient for you to join our classes at any time.
If it’s your first course with us, you will need to pay a registration fee, which covers materials and the first book used in class.
Certainly, after finishing the course, you will receive a certificate stating your level of Spanish and the number of hours attended.
You only need to fill out the following form and/or complete our Spanish level test. Once you do that, we will contact you to arrange an oral test and offer you the class that best suits your needs and preferences.
It depends on the type of course you choose. Individual classes can last as long as you prefer, while group courses are divided into different categories ranging from three hours per week to the intensive course, which lasts twenty hours per week.
The time it takes to learn a foreign language depends on various factors and is not an exact science. Factors such as whether it’s your first or second foreign language, whether you have a partner or friends to communicate with in the language, and whether your classes are individual or group-based, all contribute to the overall learning time. We can provide you with an estimate of hours, but it largely depends on your prior conditions and your effort during the course.
You can pay for your classes by card, via bank transfer, virtual link and in cash. For long-term courses, you will be asked to pay a portion of the total amount before your arrival, while the remaining will be paid on the first day of class.

Currently we can help you prepare for the DELE and SIELE exams of the Instituto Cervantes, or any type of official exam that may be required to enrol in University or apply for a job. Our teachers have a wealth of experience in these fields and have successfully prepared a large number of students.
SIELE is an official exam that shares very similar characteristics with DELE. It has some positive differences, such as the correction time (only three weeks) and the impossibility of failing. On the negative side, its validity is for five years, and you cannot take the C2 level exam.
Yes, at our school, we conduct a SIELE exam every working Thursday. You can participate either in person or from your home. You just need to book the day and make the corresponding payment. Read more here.
